Tutorial done in PSPX2.

Must having some working knowledge of the program.

with all the files ready to go, let's get started.

open my template and delete my copyright info layer.

add a new raster layer above the oval template layer.

on the oval template layer, select all/float/defloat.

open paper6 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none and hide the oval template layer.

repeat the previous steps with the following layers and papers:

Diamonds1 and paper9

Diamond1 and paper10

now for the tubes.

open the bill and eric tubes.

*dont use the close up tubes, there isn't enough room for it.*

resize bill by 40% and eric by 50%.

copy and paste (C/P) both tubes as new layers above the Diamonds1/paper9 layer.

position them over each of the diamonds.

add a drop shadow to the tubes here.

merge down one layer so both tubes are on the same layer.

now go back down to the Diamonds1 layer and select all/float/defloat/invert selection.

hit delete on the tubes layer.

select none.

now open the sookie tube and resize her by 60%.

C/P her as a new layer above the Diamond1/paper10 layer.

use my tag for placement reference.

add a drop shadow here.

now go back down to the Diamond1 layer and select all/float/defloat/invert selection.

hit delete on the sookie tube layer.

select none.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged. 

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag. 

invert selection and crop to selection. 

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
