dark goddess

Tutorial done in PSPX2.

Must having some working knowledge of the program.

Mask382 and mask402 by VixPSP HERE.

open a new transparent image at 750px by 650px.

flood fill the layer with #9b78b6.

add noise with gaussian at 75% and monochrome checked.

now apply mask382 at default settings.

right click on the mask layer to merge the mask group.

add a new raster layer above that layer and select all.

open paper10 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new layer.

select none.

apply mask402 at default settings.

right click on the mask layer to merge the mask group.

open the wire2 element from the kit.

copy and paste (C/P) as a new layer above the other layers.

open tag1 and C/P as a new layer above the wire2.

now open the tube and resize it by 70%.

C/P it as a new layer above tag1.

add a drop shadow to the tube and duplicate it.

use your rectangle selection tool to select the bottom portion of the tube.

now hit delete on the bottom tube layer.

invert your selection and hit delete on the top tube layer.

select none.

now duplicate the tag1 and select all/float/defloat/invert selection.

delete the duplicate tag1 layer.

hit delete on the bottom tube layer (to delete the excess portion of the tube).

select none.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.

invert selection and crop to selection.

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
