Tutorial done in PSPX2.

Must having some working knowledge of the program.

Black Bride scrapkit by Moonshine Dezinez, purchase HERE.

with all the files unzipped and ready to go, let's get started.

open my template and delete the copyright layer.

add a new raster layer above the background layer and select all.

open paper01 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none.

now apply mask250 with default settings.

right click on the mask layer to merge the mask layer.

add a new raster layer above the mask250 merged layer and select all.

open paper08 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none.

apply mask235 with default settings.

right click on the mask layer to merge the mask layer.

*optional*

now duplicate this mask layer then merge one layer down.

this is just to enhance the mask and colors.

on the working template, add a new raster above the Circle template layer.

click on the Circle layer.

select all/float/defloat

now open paper09 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none.

delete the Circle template layer.

now add a new raster layer above the Circle Outline layer.

click on the Circle Outline layer.

select all/float/defloat

now open paper03 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none.

delete the Circle Outline template layer.

now merge the following layers: Strip2 Bottom and Strip2 Top

add a new raster layer above the merged layer.

click on the merged Strip2 layer, select all/float/defloat

now open paper02 and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none.

delete the merged Strip2 template layer.

now merge the following layers: Strip1 Bottom and Strip1 Top

add a new raster layer above the merged layer.

click on the merged Strip1 layer and select all/float/defloat

now open paper05 and copy.

paste into selecton on the new raster layer.

select none.

delete the merged Strip1 template layer.

now add a new raster layer above the Square2 template layer.

click on the Square2 template layer and select all/float/defloat.

open paper10 and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none.

delete the Square2 template layer.

repeat the previous step with the Square1 template layer and paper08.

now we are going to rename all the layers from top to bottom, there should be a total of 9

in addition to the background layer.

now open the CLOSEUP2 Tube.

hide the signature, veil, and background layers.

copy special > copy merged

paste as a new layer above the Circle layer.

*do not resize tube or add drop shadows yet*

mirror the tube layer.

position the tube to the slighty to the right side of the Circle layer.

change the layer blend mode to Luminance.

duplicate the tube layer.

click on the bottom tube layer and change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy).

now apply a gaussian blur of 1.

on the bottom tube layer, change the opacity to 30%.

click on the top tube layer and change the opacity to 40%.

now click on the Circle layer and duplicate.

on the duplicate Circle layer, select all/float/defloat/invert.

hit delete on both tube layers.

*do not merge the tube layers*

select none.

delete the duplicate Circle layer.

now click on the background layer at the bottom of the template.

select all and crop to selection.

this deletes any tube layers outside of the visible portion of the template.

now on the Black Bride text layer, change the blend mode to Darken.

also change the opacity to 40%.

now open element13 from the kit and copy.

paste as a new layer above the Black Bride Text layer.

change the blend mode to Screen and change the opacity to 55%.

now open the full body tube, copy and paste as a new layer on the top.

resize the tube at 70%.

position it to the left side of the template.

now apply an inner bevel to the paper layers using these settings:

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text, drop shadows and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.

invert selection and crop to selection.

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
