pull the tube layer below the frames layer.

position it to the your choosing in the left frame.

duplicate the tube and mirror the tube.

position it to your choosing in the right frame.

now merge the tube layers into one layer.

*you may choose to add a drop shadow to the merged tubes here.*

now duplicate the frame back layer and select all.

crop to selection. this deletes any tube and drop shadow not visible on the working canvas.

still on the duplicate frame back layer, select all/float/defloat/invert selection.

delete the duplicate layer and hit delete on the tubes layer.

now back on the merged tubes layer, go to effects > photo effects > black and white film.

apply it with the settings set like so:

brightness - 0

clarify - 0

now change the blend mode of the tubes layer to hard light.

duplicate the frame back again and apply a cutout with the following settings:

change the blend mode of the cutout layer to Luminance (Legacy).

now go all the way back down to the bottom and add a new raster layer above the background layer.

flood fill the new layer with this color - #2b2b2b

apply the mask at default settings.

right click on the mask layer to merge the mask group.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.

invert selection and crop to selection.

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
