Let's get started!
Unzip and open all folders and place items (masks) into appropriate folders.
Press SHIFT + D and close the original template canvas.
Hide or delete the copyright layer.
Resize the canvas to 650px by 600px.
Open the grey textured frame fro my supplies
and COPY/PASTE it as a new layer.
From the scrapkit, open papers 4 & 6.
Resize both papers by 52%.
copy and paste them under the textured frame.
make sure the green paper is on top of the blue paper.
Open the HOUSE element from the scrapkit and resize it by 50%.
COPY/PASTE it under the textured frame.
While keeping it centered, move the house so the top of the
chimney almost touches the frame. Like below:
Now using your MOVE tool, select the green paper and pull it
down so it takes up the bottom half of the frame.
using your selection tool, make a selection like in the example below:
INVERT the selection and delete the excess green paper.
Open up the wordart from my supplies folder.
Copy/Paste it above the textured frame and move it to the
bottom center of the frame.
Open paper 3 from the scrapkit and COPY.
On the working canvas, highlight the wordart layer and
SELECT ALL > FLOAT > DEFLOAT.
Add a new raster layer above the wordart and PASTE INTO SELECTION.
SELECT NONE and hide/do not delete the original wordart layer.
Open the MESH element from the scrapkit and resize it by 80%.
Copy and paste it above the textured frame layer.
Move the mesh so it is on the upper left corner of the frame.
Open FRAME 2 from the scrapkit and resize it by 90%.
Copy and paste it as a new layer under the blue paper.
Duplicate the frame and select the frame on the bottom.
Gaussian blur by 5 and apply the follow settings for DSB Flux Linear Transmission:
Go back up to the original wordart layer and unhide it.
Pull it under the new wordart layer and place it
slightly to the right and under. Like below:
Apply Gaussian Blur by 5 and it'll look like a drop shadow!
That's it! Now add your tube to the right side of the tag to balance
the mesh we added earlier.
Add more elements and drop shadows if you choose.
when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.
paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.
invert selection and crop to selection.
that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
Don't forget to add your copyright info!
Thanks for doing my tutorial!
