Eyecandy 5 Gradient Glow

*this tag is easier than it looks and the kit has awesome elements!*

open up the template and resize the canvas to 750px by 650px.

hide or delete the following layers:

by missy (copyright)

wordart back

frame

merge the following layers together:

circle right with circle left

Copy of thin rectangle with thin rectangle

now add a new raster layer above the background layer and select all.

open paper15, copy and paste (C/P) into selection on new layer.

select none.

apply the mask at default settings.

right click on the mask layer (in layer palette) to merge mask group.

add a new layer above the circle layer and select all.

open paper11 from the kit, C/P into selection on new layer.

select the circle layer and float > defloat > invert selection.

select none and hide the circle layer.

repeat the step with the following papers and layer:

paper11 and the rectangles layer

paper4 and merged circles layer

paper7 and frame back

paper15 and wordart

with wordart now cut out of paper15, add a gradient glow.

put this color in your foreground: #e5aa16

use your eyecandy5 with these settings:

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.

invert selection and crop to selection.

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
