Tutorial done in PSPX2.

Must having some working knowledge of the program.

with all the files ready to go, let's get started.

open a new image at 750px by 650px.

open the wire01 element from the kit and copy.

paste at 100% as a new layer.

now free rotate to the left by 15.

now open frame04 from the frames folder.

copy and paste (C/P) at 100% as a new layer above the wire.

now add a new raster layer below the frame.

use your magic wand tool to select inside the frame04.

expand selection by 3.

open paper16 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none.

now open your tube and resize accordingly.

I resized mine by 40%.

C/P tube as a new layer on top.

refer to my tag for tube placement.

now add a slight drop shadow to the tube.

duplicate the tube and pull the copy below the frame04.

use your rectangle selection tool to make the following selection:

CLICK IMAGE FOR LARGER PREVIEW

now hit delete on the top tube layer.

invert your selection and hit delete on the bottom tube layer.

select none.

now use your magic wand to select the area outside the paper16 square.

hit delete on the bottom tube layer.

select none.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.

invert selection and crop to selection.

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.
