now merge together the following layers:

Copy of circle back and circle back

now add a new raster layer above the background layer.

select all.

open paper13 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none.

apply the mask with default settings.

right click on the mask layer to merge the mask group.

now add a new raster layer above the square1 template layer.

on the square1 layer, select all/float/defloat.

open paper16 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none and hide the square1 template layer.

now repeat the steps with the following layers and papers:

square1 and paper09

square2 and paper09

now add a new raster layer above the rounded edge rectangle template layer.

select all.

open paper10 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

on the rounded edge rectangle template layer, float/defloat/invert selection.

hit delete on the paper10 layer.

select none and hide the rounded edge rectangle template layer.

repeat the previous step with the following:

rounded edge rectangle2 and paper03.

now add a new raster layer above the circle centre template layer.

on the circle centre layer, select all/float/defloat.

open paper08 from the kit and copy.

paste into selection on the new raster layer.

select none and hide the circle centre template layer.

repeat the previous step with the following layers:

frame back and paper13

frame and paper16

circle back and paper10

now open the close up tube, resize it if you choose. I didn't resize mine.

copy and paste (C/P) it as a new layer on the very top.

position it over the left circle of the circle right layer.

duplicate the tube and mirror it.

re-position it if you need to.

now on the circle right template layer, select all/float/defloat/invert selection.

hit delete on both of the close up tubes.

select none and hide the circle right template layer.

now merge the tubes so they are one layer.

go down to the background layer and select all.

crop to selection.

this will delete any excess tube not visible on the canvas.

now change the blend mode of tubes to overlay.

(hard light also has an interesting effect on the tube so that would work also)

now change the opacity of the tubes to 80%.

now that all the basics are done, add any elements, text and tubes.

don't forget to add artist credit and license info.

when you're all done, copy special > copy merged.

paste as a new image and use your magic wand tool to select outside the tag.

invert selection and crop to selection.

that will get rid of any extra space that you don't need.

thanks for trying my tutorial! =)
