Smokey Sweet BBQ

Rub

1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

1/4 Cup Kosher Salt

3 Tbsp. Smoked Paprika

2 Tbsp. Chili Powder

1 Tbsp. Garlic Powder

1 Tbsp. Onion Powder

1 Tbsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper

1 Tbsp. Mustard Powder

1 Tbsp. Ginger Powder

1 Tbsp. Cumin


Ribs

5 Lbs. Flanken Style Short Ribs

1 Tbsp. Olive Oil

5 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce

6 Tbsp. Rub


BBQ Sauce

2 Cups Ketchup

1 Cup Water

1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce

6 Tbsp. Rub

1 Tsp. Italian Seasoning


In a bowl, mix together the rub ingredients and set aside.


In a large bowl add in the ribs, olive oil, worcestershire sauce, and rub. Massage throughtout making sure each rib is coated. Cover and chill for a minimum of 2-4 hours.


Meanwhile make your bbq sauce. In a medium pot combine all of the ingredients and simme for 30 minutes. Making sure to stir every couple of minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool.


Pre-heat your grill.


Grill your ribs for 3-4 mintues on each side. Baste with bbq sauce and grill for an additional 1 minutes.


Remove from the grill and allow to rest for a couple of mintues.


Serve and enjoy.
