Mustard Pork Roast

1 5-6 lbs. Pork Shoulder

1/4 Cup Spicy Brown Mustard

2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil

4-6 Cloves of Garlic, finely grated

1 Tbsp. Onion Powder

2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar

1 Tbsp. Rosemary, finely chopped

1 Tbsp. Thyme, finely chopped

1 Tbsp. Kosher Salt

1 Tbsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper

1 Oven Safe Bag


Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.


In a small bowl, mix together the spicy brown mustard, vegetable oil, minced garlic, onion powder, brown sugar, rosemary, thyme, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Stir until well combined.


Add the seasoning mixture to the pork shoulder making sure to cover it completely.


In a Roasting pan add the oven bag and open it up and place the pork roast in. Making sure to secure it properly.


Roast for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until the roast reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit.


Remove from the oven and let rest for 10-15 minutes.


Open up oven bag slice your roast, serve with any pan drippings, and enjoy.
