Buffalo Chicken Wings

Buffalo Wings

2 lbs. Wings

1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour

1/2 Cup Potato Starch

1 Tsp. Garlic Powder

1 Tsp. Onion Powder

1/2 Tsp. Paprika

1 Tsp. Salt

1 Tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Oil for frying

Buffalo Sauce:

1/2 Cup Franks Red Hot Sauce

2 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter

1 Tsp. Worcestershire Sauce

2 Cloves of Garlic, mashed with the side of your knife

In a bowl combine the flour, potato starch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and stir to combine.

Dredge the wings into the flour mixture making sure to shake off any excess flour. Set aside the floured wings for 10 minutes.

In a pan or Dutch oven heat the oil to 350 degrees F. place the wings in the oil and fry for 6 minutes on each side or until golden brown all over. Remove from the frying pan and let excess oil drain.

In a small pot using medium high heat bring all of the buffalo sauce ingredients to a simmer. Remove from heat after 2-3 minutes and combine the fried wings and sauce together in a large bowl.

Serve along side carrots sticks, celery sticks, and ranch.
