Belgian Sugar Waffels

3 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour

1 Packet Dry Yeast

3/4 Cup Lukewarm Milk

8 Oz. Softened Butter

2 Eggs

1/2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

1/2 Tsp. Salt

Dash of Cinnamon (Optional)

8 oz. Pearl Sugar

In a large mixing bowl, Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk.

Add in the flour, butter, eggs, vanilla extract, salt, cinnamon, and mix until incorporated.

Let dough rise until double in size. (approx. 30 min)

Pre-heat your waffle iron.

Add in the pearl sugar into the dough and divide into small 3 to 4 oz. patties.

Add waffle patties into your waffle iron and cook until done.

Serve and enjoy.

Serving Suggestions: serve with a drizzle of melted chocolate, or caramel, or fresh fruit and some whipped cream.
