Cajun Garlic Shrimp
1 1/2 lbs. Large Shrimp, Deveined
1 Tbsp. All Purpose Flour
1 Tbsp. Smoked Paprika
1/2 Tsp. Cayenne Pepper
1 Tsp. Kosher Salt
1 Tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1/2 Tsp. Onion Powder
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
6 Tbsp. Butter
1 Whole Head of Garlic, Minced
2 Lemons, zested and juiced
Lemon pepper sauce
1/4 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
2 Tsp. Honey
1 Tsp. Dijon Mustard
1/2 Tsp. Old Bay Seasoning
1/2 Tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1 Lemon, zested and juiced
In a large bowl toss together the shrimp, flour, paprika, cayenne, salt, freshly ground black pepper, onion powder, and stir until well combined.
In a large skilled add in the olive oil and using medium high heat sear the shrimp 2 minutes per side. Remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same skilled add in the 3 Tbsp. butter, garlic, and let it sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add in the remaining butter, shrimp, lemon zest and stir to combine. Remove from heat and toss in the lemon juice.
Serve along white rice and your lemon pepper sauce. Enjoy.
To make the lemon pepper sauce, combine all of the ingredients and stir. Set aside until needed.
