The order of the morphemes of nouns and adjectives is as follows:

GENDER

The modern Symbaian maintained three genders: unspecified, masculine and feminine. Each has a pair of suffix suffixes, one for the indeterminate form and one for the determinate form. These suffixes are the following:

unspecified -o (indeterminate) -ω (determinate)

masculine -y (indeterminate) -oy (determinate)

feminine -a (indeterminate) -α (determinate)

NUMBER

Modern Symbaian maintained three numbers: singular, plural and dual. Each of these has a suffix. These are the following:

singular -Ø

plural -i

dual -α

Modern Symbaian maintained only the isorcic plural of classical Symbaian.

CASES

Modern Symbaian maintained fifteen cases: the absolutive, the adlative, the benefactive, the comitative, the dative, the ergative, the final, the genitive, the locative genitive, the inessive, the instrumental, the locative, the partitive, the prolative and the terminative. The suffixes of these cases are the following. There are some archaic plurals that have been established as singular nouns, such as gimáiazo, sýmekto and telíekto. They have the only peculiarity that the absolutive receives the old endings -o.

The adjective and adverbial degree of the modern Symbian has maintained only the comparative of superiority, of equality, of inferiority, the degree of shortage and the superlative. It should be noted that the nouns that had roots for the superlative no longer have them, so they are constructed with the suffix -ayl- (cf. élo, eláylo; tóro, toráylo):
