The verb agrees with the subject in number and person as follows: it has one paradigm for the third person singular; another paradigm for the first, second, and third person plural; and another common paradigm for the first and second singular.
Some lexical meanings are usually presented in a pair of verbs, one of which agrees only with the first two paradigms and the other with the 1st and 2nd singular. In the first person singular, the pronoun can be elided.
SUBORDINATION
Subordination is achieved with conjunctions, but completive sentences are introduced through the subordinate nominative (-ba) and accusative (-kom) postpositions. The first and second person singular and plural have their own subordinate pronouns.
