SYMBAY
Republic of Simbay (in Fartan Symbaian, Symbaiάn Daimokratíα: symbai̯'an dai̯mokɾa'tija) or Symbay (Symbáiα: sym'bai̯ja). Symbay is divided into eight Regions (Paré): Farte (whose most important cities are Ipharmeler, the capital of the Region and the capital of Symbay, Atare and Telmither), the Targathe Region (whose most important cities are Tantulimalte, Emun, Umpare, Giony, Elvenmeler, Cartous, Targathe, the capital of the Region, Lodar, from Testaresus, Lutr, and Bammae, from Testaresus, Dubənirnae), Eastern Parthegar (whose most important cities are Rhemun, Botelous, the capital of the Region, Ulitery, Cotro, and, Cepto, from Classical Symbaian, Kiptós, from Tharcaian, Kipta), Western Parthegar (whose most important cities are Miusilze, Anathy, Thictery, the capital of the Region and Miusory), Eastern Xamesy (whose most important cities are Etcay, Agaxim, Dartous, the capital of the Region, Ynul and Toriundele), Western Xamesy (whose capital is Thagrelo; islands Telirus and Arcante are under the jurisdiction of this Region), Shule Islands Region (whose most important cities are Clatis, the capital of the Region, Laeldous and Tergina) and Tartace Islands Region (Tare, the capital of the Region, and Parnacae).
The Symbian Flag is composed of a horizontal blue cross dividing two green sections and a shield. The cross and the sections represent the lands of Parthegar and Xamesy, unified by Pan-Symbainic Christianity. In the centre of the shield is the Goenvde (Goinvdá, "Symbol of the top"), which was the standard of the Pan-Symbainic Empire when it adopted Christianity as its state religion. It is composed of a carob branch (see Epistle of Sphiod §8), the rusca of St. Arcideus (see Dolmmiclaelide's Chronicles) and a band with the motto Symbaini cum Deo. Deus cum Symbainis, ("The Symbaians with God. God with the Symbaians") the Latin translation of Lumpicurx's Pan-Symbainic motto Ergôysk Symbaiαnῶis, Ergôys Symbâysk, which is also referenced by the initials E.S.E.S., in Symbaian letters, in the middle of the band. At the top and bottom of the shield is a set of stripes known as Plirphutho (Pleirφýzω, "The (Symbol) of the lines of Pleo"), which represents the Symbainic ethnic group. These symbolize the Pleo, the mythological sky-sea of blood (see Paladasty, 15.59-16.64).
DUTORY
Republic of Dutory (in Dutorian Symbaian, Dytorάn Daimokratáy: dyto'ɾa dai̯mokɾa'tau̯; in Fartan Symbaian, Dytorάn Daimokratíα: dyto'ɾan dai̯mokɾa'tija) or Dutory (Dytoráy: dyto'ɾau̯; Dytórα: dy'toɾja). The Dutorian Flag is composed of two sections representing the two historical ethnic groups of Dutory. The upper part, occupied by the Plirphutho, which represents the Symbaians, and the lower part, occupied by the grey colour, which represents the ancient Kirdainic ethnic group. The Kirdaians have already disappeared in modern times, but many cities in Dutory are of Kirdaian origin and many Dutorians have Kirdainic ancestry.
