When men reproduced, they fought with the other creatures. For this reason Gelgmus made ten loros[1] from the snow, which lived in Gelcilus[2]; and he made ten loros from the water, which lived in the Epe[3], which ate many men. The strongest fought with them, but they devoured them. And they ate all the humans, except Fuler[4] and Into[5], who were the weakest and hid in the valley. Then Etaste separated the Epe and the Gelcilus from the snow and moved them away from the men. And she carried them above the sky and Nergmus covered each one with a sky. In this way, they made the Satidesmalorus[6] and the Acipsmalorus[7]. There were many sons of Fuler and Into and they covered the entire earth. But they were not strong as the previous men were, who hunted the beasts. But weak, like their fathers, and were hunted by beasts. But the loros hit the edges of their sky, breaking it and escaping from it to go to the land of men and hunt them. Then Risumar[8] went to earth to fight with the loroacips. And he killed many, but two of these remained, Gelcadnus and Idodaldus, who hid in the forests to hunt the men. And Nergmus took part of his flesh, which he wanted again from the bones, and covered with these the skies of Satidesmalorus and Acipsmalorus.
Then Naspaleba entered the waters of the Caulus, where he found the five sons of Gelgmus and Dadulacib[9], to ask them to capture the loroacips when they sought to escape by sea. There she saw the twins of the whirlpools and the waves. She told them: "Old men, I come to you to ask you that, if any loros reaches these waters, you do not allow it to escape, because no creature of the gods should cross the sky that they have given them." And after hearing this, Ben said to the goddess: "Beautiful daughter of Calgmus, we have heard your request, but know that we want payment, for your beauty is high among the gods and we will do what you say if you lie down one night with each of us." And the goddess accepted the request and lay with a brother and from them was born the one who moves the soil[10]. But the goddess only loved this god, but not his brother. Then their brother went to the goddess and said to her: "Beautiful daughter of Calgmus, I have seen that you have laid with my brother and I came to you to ask you the same." Then the goddess said to him: "Lord of the waters, it is true that I have laid with your brother, for I have asked him to close the way to the loros who seek to escape from the sky of men through the waters of the sea; and I will lie with you, if you do the same." Then the god accepted the request and the goddess told him: "I know that I am the most beautiful among the gods, that is why I ask you to take the shape of my body, so that I too can feel what it is like to lie with the most beautiful." Then Borxa agreed. And, when Ben sought Naspaleba, he found his brother, with the appearance of the goddess, and they both lay[11] and from them was born the one who wets the floors[12]. And, after having fathered sons with the goddess, Ben moved the waters and directed them towards the land, so that, when one of the loros who were hiding in the forests wanted to escape through the waters, he would take them back to the land. And Sulguded raised the waters to the skies and threw them over the seas, to sink the loros who wanted to escape through the waters into them. And the loros on land who knew what was happening in the waters hid in the forests and lived there, hunting men.
A loroacip, Ilarbolsticon, went to Liscrinta and there he took Lopsoltabuta, a girl from the town, and took her to the forest. And he ate her eyes, but then a hunter from Felgodax[13] arrived and made him flee, throwing his gartiort[14] at the loro, before he ate her all. And the hunter, who was the Symbaian, Dirganuc, took her to the town, but he heard her speak, knew that she was a Gelcilcian[15] and took her to Cipte and left her in the house of his sisters, who took care of her and educated her. And Lopsoltabuta was a young woman and she went with these women to the market and there she heard them speaking in the language of the Symbaians. There she remembered the moment when the beast had devoured her eyes, and after this she only heard words like the ones she was hearing. Then she took his faricon[16], rushed towards the place where those words arose and killed both of them. Then she fled the town and reached Felgodax. There she walked between the houses for ten days and killed the boys and girls and women she heard talking. Until one night Ilarbolsticon arrived at the town, looking for Symbaians to devour, and he saw her killing a child and he knew that she was the girl he had tried to devour, and he told her in Gelcician words, which is the language that the gods taught the loros: "Daughter of the flesh of Tasacalba[17], What evil from these men whose children you kill with your hands reached your soul?" And the woman, having recognized the words, which were like her own, said to him: "Son of Gelcila, calm is my soul listening to your voice; I don't have eyes to see you, because when I was a girl a beast took them from me; but I recognize your language, which is the same as mine, and I recognize these beasts because their words are the same as those that that beast spoke." Then Ilarbolsticon knew that the woman erred and said to her: "What you say is good; Come with me, for I am Gelcilcian like you, and I will take you back to our land." And Lopsoltabuta accepted and Ilarbolsticon took her again to the same forest, to which he had taken her when she was a child. There they lay and Lopsoltabuta begat Arcilartaccon, the one that walks on the waters of the forests. But one day Ilarbolsticon wanted to devour her by biting her face and Dirganuc reached the forest. And he thought that they were two loros and, throwing his gartiort, he pierced the head of the woman and that of the beast.
