Warren Marston


Warren John Marston was born at Worcester on March 16, 1971, and grew up in Pershore and, later, on his parents farm in Tewkesbury. He learned to ride at a pony club.

He was apprenticed to David Morley & David Nicholson.

Warren rode his first winner, Bel Course, at Worcester on May 16, 1990.

He went on to enjoy a 23-year career, winning over 700 races, before retiring, aged 40, in April 2011.
