In the Classroom

Students in Dr. Walters' and Mrs. Stucke's Forensic Classes processed crime scenes -- assisted by Ridgewood Police Detective Mormino and Retired Detective Reinke.

Sleep specialist, Suzanne Pearson from Valley Hospital, presented to the RAHP 11 students on sleep cycles and tips for maximizing a student's memory while studying before tests. She also connected her presentation to the unit on Macbeth.

Senior, Will Conde, becomes the first student to use the new 3D printer in the Makerspace, making a dinosaur model out of ABS plastic. The advanced printer uses a chemical bath to dissolve support materials, producing highly detailed prints.

Club Happenings

The Pizza Club continued its quest to find the best pizza in Bergen county on Thursday, November 12.  They sampled pizza from La Bella in Ridgewood.  The owner was very excited for the students to try his pizza and with good reason.  La Bella currently has the highest rated plain slice of the year.  New members are welcome to join our next meeting on December 17.  See Mr. Lynaugh in room 204 for more details.

Seven teams from the Applied Engineering Club recently competed in the finals of the 2021 Virtual STEAM Tank Challenge. At the Virtual Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, October 27, all of the teams were recognized for outstanding achievement with Solar Aqua Tech winning first place and a $2,500 prize in this prestigious competition. Congratulations!

Members of the Project Interact Club volunteered at the Halloween at the Park Event on October 30th.
