Winter Dance Concert

The RHS Winter Dance Concert took place on Friday, January 6th. This was our first winter performance back in the Little Theater and with a live audience since the start of COVID. The students were so excited to hold a live show and to share what they've been working on over the course of the semester. We hope to see you in the spring for our next performance!

Club Happenings

DECA States Prep

Students are starting to plan their creative presentations for their twenty page papers.  RHS submitted 27 twenty-page papers this past week.  They will be ready and scored before competition, but students still need to earn points with their presentations to move on from preliminaries to finals.  Our role play students are taking practice exams this week,  before testing next week.  Our ten-page paper students are working on their detailed outlines and needed to submit five pages of their paper by Wednesday. Pictured left are sophomores Saachi Agarwal and Aashi (AJ) Jesalpura with Mr. Cronk.

Friends of Music

The Ridgewood Friends of Music proudly announces the winners of the 2022 Songwriting Contest.  Judges Jay Friedman, Lisa Plasse, Kenny Brescia and Joseph Turrin listened to 15 original compositions (our largest number), 9 of which were by elementary school students!  Thank you for your encouragement and support of all the students.

The winning pieces will have their world premieres at the FOM concert on January 27th at GW at 7:00 pm, and the songs will be posted on our website.  If you’d like to come to the concert, tickets are $10 for faculty and staff and you can get them at the door or on our website, which now has commerce!!!  www.ridgewoodfriendsofmusic.org.
