Forensics
Forensic science classes processed "crime scenes" with the help of the police. Detective Killion helped students dust for fingerprints. Officer Perez, Retired Detective Captain Reinke, SRO Levajac and Officer Malone helped the students with proper procedure and answered all their questions.
Physics
Physics CP students engage in an interactive exploration of star formation and orbital motion by using a gravity well to simulate these phenomena. By carefully throwing marbles into the well, they can observe how gravity influences the marbles' trajectories. Students were captivated by the visual representation of how stars and planets move and interact in space.
Veteran's Day Celebration 2025
This year’s Veterans Day celebration was a tremendous success. More than 150 students participated in meaningful small-group discussions with local veterans, creating an engaging and respectful environment for learning, reflection, and gratitude.
We were honored to have student leaders Ella Cahill and Grace Kim provide thoughtful opening remarks that helped set the tone for the event. Members of the Support Our Troops student group also played an important role by assisting in the facilitation of discussions and helping ensure the program ran smoothly.
Maroon & White Recital
The 63rd Anniversary Maroon and White Musical Recital was a beautiful and memorable celebration, filled with outstanding performances and a warm sense of tradition. Following the recital, guests were invited to the Carroll Art Gallery for an inspiring art exhibition showcasing exceptional paintings, drawings, mixed media works, and photographs. Featured student-artists included Jimin Chun, Keya Jesalpura, Helena Lindenberg, David Mousa, and Ethan Song, whose talent and creativity added a vibrant visual finale to the evening

Five RHS students recently competed in the 2025 Congressional App Challenge and presented their apps to a panel of judges and New Jersey Congressman Josh Gottheimer. Ilaria Cupi, Goktug Bas, Jayin Johnson and Ryan Tchoumi Tchouga developed the StepSync App, a structured task-guidance application designed to support neurodivergent individuals and those experiencing executive functioning challenges, in independently completing multi-step daily routines. Ayan Desai developed the AllergyTracker app which helps users select allergy friendly restaurants/menus in their area and organizes allergies based on type and severity. Winners will be announced in December 2025 and will be invited to Washington D.C. to showcase their apps for Congress and the national tech community. Marching Band
The 2025 RHS Marching Band concluded another awesome season with their 2025 show "Voyage." 2025 marked a significant milestone as the program's first in the elite USBands Open Class competition circuit. Demonstrating incredible resilience, the students successfully learned and executed an entirely new show intro & closer midway through the season, after being denied copyright for their arrangements. Season highlights included two performances at MetLife Stadium and the program's debut at the prestigious Bands of America Mid-Atlantic Regional, showcasing their skill on a national stage. This season was not just about competition, it was about charting a new course, with the students successfully navigating the highest levels of performance and setting a strong foundation for the future of the RHSMB. Congrats on a great season RHSMB!
Latin Academic Team
The Latin Academic Team traveled to Yale University to compete in its annual Fall Certamen Tournament. Two advanced teams, comprising grades 10-12, played against tough competition. The one intermediate team, with freshman students, made it to the semi-final round and earned impressively high scores in all their matches! Additionally, RHS was accompanied by two beginner teams from BF with Mrs. Scheckel as their advisor. All in all, it was a tremendously successful Certamen event!
