We are excited to share that Team Vita Flow and Team Shock Sleeve secured 2nd place ($1500 prize) and 4th place ($500 prize) at the NJSBA STEAM Tank in-person Final. This year, a record-breaking 12 RHS teams and 80 high school teams participated in the NJSTEAM Tank.
Vita Flow: A portable, self-powered IV delivery system with a constant flow rate, invented by Elliott Yi, Ben Soung, Matias Levani, and Aarav Motivala.
Shock Sleeve: A rechargeable electric stimulation and cryotherapy shoulder sleeve with customizable therapy modes, invented by Jeremy Cohen, Neal Shrimali, Maanas Chinni, and Ishaan Chakrabarty.
Congratulations to these outstanding teams on their achievements, bringing home a total of $2000 for our school! This marks a successful year for RHS invention, with our Applied Engineering teams earning a total of $10,500 in cash prizes from the NJSBA STEAM Tank Competition over the past five years. Invention is a rewarding educational experience!

In the month of May, Project Interact members assisted in the placement of flags for veterans in Valleau Cemetery. Members also were present at the Memorial Day service in Van Neste Square where they distributed programs and water to those in attendance. Both events took place in Ridgewood.
