Pizzuto Way Project Brings Kyle McCullough,
Artist-in-Residency, to RHS
Through the generous support of the Ridgewood Education Foundation, Kyle McCullough (Class of 2005) is conducting an artist-in-residency program at RHS to paint a 7.5' x 16' mural along the graduation walkway. Working out of the art gallery, Kyle has been collaborating with art classes to teach fine art skills, showcase his artwork, share insights into building a career in the arts, and discuss his journey from RHS student to professional freelance artist.
His recent visit created an open forum for students to ask questions about artistic growth, college experiences, and pursuing creative passions beyond high school. To learn more about Kyle and his work, please visit kylemcculloughart.com.
As part of the mural project, Kyle is looking to connect with any students or staff who knew Basil or have a Pizzuto story to share.
Studio 2 students had the opportunity to participate in an inspiring 70-minute pastel demonstration and artist talk with Kyle. Students engaged in meaningful discussions, explored pastel techniques, and enjoyed a collaborative, hands-on learning experience filled with creativity, inspiration, and fun.
