ART START EXHIBIT at WPU
At William Paterson University, Art Start is a student art competition and exhibition that brings together artwork from high school students across New Jersey. The event aims to showcase the creativity and artistic talent of high school students by featuring a large number of submissions from across many schools. It gives young artists a public platform to display their work, gain recognition, and celebrate artistic achievement in a university gallery setting. The reception took place on Thursday, 2/5/26. The following students displayed their work:
Chloe Marks, Digital Art, 24x16
Jimin Chun, 18x24, “The one that got away”, Acrylic on Gesso Board

Applied Engineeirng Teams Gear up for the
NJSTEAM Tank Regional
Thirteen Applied Engineering teams are working diligently to refine their presentations for the upcoming Regional event in March, viewing invention as a year-round, long-term learning process. They are grateful for the NJSTEAM Tank mentoring session and the invaluable guidance of subject-matter experts from NJ Transit, Rutgers University, William Paterson University, Duke University, LG Electronics, NU Aqua System, and the Hackensack Riverkeeper. The experience reinforces that invention is deeply rooted in strong community engagement and sustained by dedicated volunteer mentors who inspire teamwork, learning, and purposeful innovation.
