To try to help offset the stress of next week with the end of the Quarter and the upcoming college deadlines, RHS Guidance hosted the Seeing Eye with puppies and therapy dogs on Wednesday, October 29th.
Get Ready Ridgewood! RHS Band Students will be visiting you this Sunday, November 2nd for our annual Poinsettia & Amaryllis sale.
For almost 50 years, the Ridgewood community has enjoyed our beautiful plants while supporting the RHS Band Program.
See why we sell more than 4,000 plants to Ridgewood residents each holiday season.
THANK YOU for your support!
Freshman Focus students visited the Learning Commons for orientation over the month of October.
They participated in a Goosechase scavenger hunt, which helped the newest members of RHS become familiar with
the collection and services. Special thanks to the peer counselors who led the Freshmen in their hunts,
and shout out to Team Nour, the only team that earned a perfect score!
On Wednesday, October 23rd, members of the French Club gathered for an exciting round of Pictionary—with a twist. Instead of English words, participants were challenged to illustrate French vocabulary terms, putting both their language skills and artistic creativity to the test.
Laughter and friendly competition filled the room as teams raced to decode each other’s drawings and correctly guess the French words.
The activity provided a fun and engaging way for students to expand their vocabulary while connecting with fellow French enthusiasts.
The French Club welcomes all students interested in exploring French language, culture, and traditions.
Meetings are held every other Wednesday during Unit Lunch in Room 332.
Looking ahead, the club is already planning for French Day next year at Montclair State University—a highlight event
celebrating Francophone culture. Don’t miss the chance to be part of the festivities!
On Saturday, October 25th, The RHS Fishing Club went to The Elmwood Park Marina
to fish for carp in the Passaic River.
RHS DECA hosted a fun night to bring members together in a fun and creative way.
Those present were broken into 4 teams and designed a pumpkin. The Intro to Businesses class then voted on the winner.
Congratulations to our Minion group who was selected as the winner!
