Forensic Science

The Forensic Science classes are starting their scene investigation unit wherein they discovered a crime scene. Students in Mrs. Walter's class then had to process the crime scene. Good luck to our students trying to crack the case!

12th Grade Parent Meeting 

The Guidance Department hosted their annual 12th Grade Parent Meeting this week! Mr. Bailey and the RHS School Counselor team went over important information with parents at this meeting which included topics such as college admissions trends, senior transcripts, using Scoir, the college application and admission timeline, and the Local Scholarship process. 9th Grade Parent Meeting 

This week, parents of RHS freshmen were encouraged to attend the annual 9th Grade Parent Meeting. Administrators went over important topics such as academic planning, the role of the Guidance and Grade Advisor departments, and school based programs like Freshman F.O.C.U.S. The 9th Grade Parent Meeting is always a great way to introduce parents to the next four years of their child's time at RHS! Financial Aid Presentation 

The Guidance Department hosted a virtual Financial Aid Meeting on September 27th for parents and students to learn valuable information regarding paying for college and applying for financial aid. Click the button below to view a recording of the meeting!

         Club Happenings 

French Club 

The French Club held a meeting on Wednesday, September 27th during unit lunch. Around 25 members participated to play games and make their own crêpes with Nutella, whipped cream, and toppings of their choices! Students immensely enjoyed the immersive experience of French culture and language through food, drinks, and games! Join the French Club for their next meeting on Wednesday, October 11th in Room 332 to discover and enjoy more French culture and food!

Project Interact at Back to School Night 

The Project Interact Leaders set up a stand during Back to School Night! They spent the night handing out water bottles and giving directions to parents. They spoke to the parents about the service club and the different events that they participate in. Thank you to all of the families who donated to the stand! The funds will be used towards the club's future fundraisers. 

Travel to Bali in 2024! 

Interested in staying in a bungalow on the beach in rural Bali while building and deploying structures to return a section of coral reef to its pristine state? Get the opportunity to hike to waterfalls, scuba dive, free dive, and learn to surf! On neighboring islands, learn about and participate in ongoing manta ray research including scuba or freediving with these graceful giants of the sea! 


30 spots are still available for July 10th-24th or August 1st-15th. 

An interest meeting will be held on October 11th at 7PM in Room 213!


Chinese Club

The Mid-Autumn Festival is on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar. It is known as a time for family reunion. Chinese people around the world celebrate it by gathering for dinners, worshiping the moon, lighting paper lanterns,  and eating moon cakes. Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to all who celebrate!

RHS Wrestling

The RHS Wrestling team held it's first annual golf outing to raise money for the Avon Morgan Memorial Wrestling Scholarship. Avon was an impactful attorney with the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and a proud RHS alumni who was a stand out athlete across multiple sports. Attendees enjoyed a day of golf, plenty of food, a silent auction, raffles, and awards.   A great time was had by all who attended!
