A Seeded Thanksgiving Food Bracket

Peter McHugh created and facilitated a Thanksgiving food bracket with 64 items in 4 subcategories - Mains, Sides, Apps, and Desserts, for his Freshman Focus class. Needless to say, things got heated.  Turkey, mashed potatoes, garlic bread and chocolate chip cookies made it to the final four with mashed potatoes sweeping the tournament and coming out the winner.

Intermediate Art and Studio Art AP I and II students took a field trip to the MoMA on Wednesday. They participated in a guided tour of the galleries before the museum opened, and viewed works centered around the theme of Art and Society. Students then spent the afternoon touring the extensive modern art permanent collection and special exhibits, including Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh and an Ed Ruscha retrospective.
