RHS Community Service Fair
On Friday, January 30th, the Guidance Department organized a Community Service Fair for students looking for volunteer opportunities.
The event was held during student lunch in the Campus Center and was well-attended.
The varied organizations offered something of interest for every one: Comfort Zone Camp, Eva's Village, The Hermitage, Jewish Family & Children's Services, North Jersey Villages, Ridgewood Fire Department, Stellar Role Models, Table to Table, Tenafly Nature Center,
The Seeing Eye, and Valley Health System.

The Spanish Honor Society will sell hand-woven bracelets (pulseras) to support artisans in Guatemala and Nicaragua through
The Pulsera Project, a fair-trade nonprofit, .
Each pulsera is tagged with the artist's photo and signature and costs $5.
Every purchase helps fund fair-trade.
When: Lunch period from February 9th-13th
Where: Cafeteria and Campus Center.

RHS National Arts Honors Society held its induction ceremony on February 5th in the Carroll Gallery to honor students for their exceptional achievement and commitment to the visual arts.
Reinforcing the school’s strong support of the arts and artistic scholarship, the ceremony recognized new inductees for their creativity, leadership, and dedication.

PROJECT INTERACT Monthly Food Drive at Stop and Shop
Project Interact members sort donations at RHS and then deliver to Social Services Association in Ridgewood and Father English Food Pantry in Paterson.

All proceeds support children in around the world through RHS WSA, Operation Smile, and TEEEM.
