RHS Guidance Celebrates Lunar New Year
K12 District Director of Counseling Jen Perry brought the Lunar New Year spirit to the first floor hallway near the Guidance offices this week at RHS! Lunar New Year (aka Chinese New Year) marks the beginning of a new year according to lunar calendars. 2026 will be the Year of the Horse
and kicked off on February 17th with the first new moon of the lunar calendar. Festivities often last for 15 days or more, containing activities and tasks such as the hanging of Spring banners, a lantern festival,
a large feast held on Lunar New Year's Eve, and plenty
of time spent with family and friends.
Happy Lunar New Year to all who celebrate!

FBI Visits RHS
Retired Special FBI Agent Grathwohl brought real-world investigations to life during visits with our Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, and Crime & Mysteries classes. Students got a behind-the-scenes look at actual cases, learned how evidence is used to solve crimes, and heard firsthand what it’s like to work in federal law enforcement. The experience became even more memorable when some of the students had the chance to try on authentic FBI gear, including a bulletproof vest!
