Senior FOCUS is underway! In Senior FOCUS, counselors assist seniors with completing necessary steps of the college application process, and share helpful tips and deadlines. All information is posted in the Senior FOCUS: Class of 2023 Google Classroom page.

Club Happenings

Arrow Yearbook Club

On Tuesday, September 20th the 2023 Arrow Yearbook staff took to the streets of Ridgewood Village in order to seek out business support. Students canvased every area of downtown. Each student worked to exude confidence and find comfort in talking with business people. Prior to going, students participated in role playing activities to hone their skills and find comfort in the unexpected. Veteran staff members helped coach new staff throughout the process. The day was an overall success as we received six checks so far...

American Sign Language Club

ASL Club will have its first ever meeting on Sept. 29th during lunch in room 317. You do not need to be enrolled in ASL to join! All are welcome!

Around the Building

12th Grade Parent Night

Mr. Fabish addresses the crowd on Tuesday evening at the 12th grade parent night.

School counselors walked through the college application process with parents and reviewed Senior FOCUS.

NACAC Conference

This week Mr. Bailey, Mrs. Salerno, and Ms. Vargo attended the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) Conference in Houston, Texas to learn the latest
tools and trends in college admissions from leaders
in the field around the country.

Thank you to the RHS HSA, the Korean Parent Association,
Ms. Poelstra and the Ridgewood BOE for supporting this trip which will help our Guidance Department better serve and guide students and parents through the college application process.

on reaching and surpassing the 1,000 assist mark!

Girls Varsity Tennis

Livingston Tournament Sept. 3rd

The Girls Varsity Tennis team won the Livingston Invitational Tournament on Saturday 9/3 to kick off the season. First round the girls
played Morristown and won 5-0. The second round was against JP Stevens and the team won a close match, 3-2, with a third-set tiebreak win by Lily Cundiff and Daria Baksheeva to clinch the match. The girls are looking forward to an exciting season!

Senior Day Sept. 20th

The Ridgewood Girls Varsity tennis team celebrated Senior Day on Tuesday, September 20th. The team played Wayne Hills High School and won the match 4-1. The seniors had a chance to celebrate with some refreshments and posters made by the underclassmen
and JV team. It was a beautiful day and a great match! Best of luck to the Class of 2023!
