Deputy Mayor Pamela Perron Speaks to Green Club
Deputy Mayor Pamela Perron recently spoke to the Green Club about health effects of modern lawn maintenance. The Green Club is the RHS student organization that focuses on environmental issues and improving our community's sustainability. We carry out volunteer functions and facilitate events to help promote environmental stewardship both on campus and throughout the village.
Math Club Excels
Congratulations to Jaywu Jun, Mathias Nguyen-Van-Duong, Justin Sheng, and Margaret Zhou for qualifying for the 2024 American Invitational Mathematics Examination, the AIME. Students qualify for this exam by demonstrating outstanding achievement on the American Mathematics Competition, the AMC. Margaret earned Honor Roll of Distinction for an amazing score of 136.5 and Justin earned a Certificate of Distinction. Great job by all!
Applied Engineering Club
Congratulations to the thirteen teams of the Applied Engineering Club who made it to the 2024 NJSTEAM Tank Challenge Regional. They will compete in the next round in front of a panel of judges and present their projects at Super Science Saturday at RHS in March. Applied Engineering Club pilots Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam Program to invent sustainable solutions to school/community/global problems. Invention culture lives at RHS!

RHS Cheer Places at Nationals!
The RHS Competitive Cheer Team nabbed 9th place at their Nationals competition in Dallas TX last week. There were close to 350 (!) high schools competing.
