Crime Scene Analysis in Forensics
With the help of School Resource Officer, Detective Mormino, and Retired Detective Reinke, the students in the Forensic Science Class learned how to process a crime scene.

FTC Robotics Team Earns Award
The Woodchips, the RHS Robotics Team, competed on Sunday, October 30th, in their first meet of the season at Bergen Catholic. The team built a unique robot that they designed using a unique linear lift. It was one of the few in the competition that could stack a cone onto the highest pylon. The team took home the award for the highest match score by an alliance. Their next meet will be at RHS on Saturday, November 19th.

Project Interact Helps with Drive
Project Interact volunteered for the October food drive to support Ridgewood Social Services. Juniors, Nathan and Jaywu, along with seniors, Carla and Ava, collected food from Kings in Midland Park.
Student Life
Eagle Scout Donates Bookshelves & Books
Josh Fishkin, RHS 11th grader, built 12 bookcases and collected donations of more than 5,000 books for his Eagle Scout project. They were delivered last week to the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology so that each class of kindergarteners and first graders would have a new mini-library. Ridgewood Crew Traveled to Boston for the Head of The Charles Regatta
Originating in 1965, the Head of the Charles Regatta is the largest 3-day regatta in the world. This year, more than 11,000 rowers from around the globe competed from October 21 through 22. Participating boats are selected by lottery, and three of RHS senior rowers qualified to race.
Thomas Clark and Sam Boogaert in the Mens Youth 2x: 11th/55 row the fastest scholastic boat in their category.
