GirlsWhoCode Promotes CS at BF
The RHS GirlWhoCode club introduced almost 250 BF students to Computer Science on Friday 4/26. The club members met
with many 7th and 8th grade math classes and led programming activities including the use of microcontrollers which
allowed students to programatically make music and images. Thanks to the BF math teachers Mrs. Rosalanko, Mrs. Skettini,
Mrs. Powell, and Mrs. Murray for allowing us into their classrooms!
French Club Raclette Party
The French Club held its first ever raclette party on Wednesday, April 24th! Though originated from Switzerland, Raclette is a popular dish in France. Members of the French Club enjoyed a variety of food, including small potatoes, tomatoes, chicken,
and broccoli, served with melted cheese. There were also salads, baguettes, and drinks. While listening to French music,
everyone had a blast experiencing French culture at the party! Join us in room 332 at our next meeting in two weeks
to explore French culture through more engaging activities and delicious food!
