French Club Celebrates Epiphany
The French Club met on Wednesday, January 10th, to celebrate the Epiphany, which commemorates the visit of the three wise men to infant Jesus. Seventeen members and officers learned about the origins of the French tradition through a presentation as well as the King cake (la Galette des Rois). Everyone engaged in fun games and enjoyed more snacks and drinks.
Join us in room 332 at our next meeting in two weeks to explore French culture through more activities and delicious food!
DECA
On Thursday, January 11th, students attended the first round of the DECA District Competition held at Ramapo College.
Many students also took on the task of completing 20 page papers in various categories: Project Management, Research, and Entrepreneurship. Qualifying students will attend
states on March 4th-6th.
Maroon & White
The second Maroon & White Music Recital and Art Exhibit was held on Thursday, January 18th. Five musicians participated: Ava Fontus, Danielle Haas, Karen Matsuura, John McGoff and Rohan Tipnis. Six visual artists displayed their work in the Carroll Art Gallery: Ruth Fan, Madison Kim, Yuna Lee, Kristen Sohn, Ethan Song and Chloe Wang.
RHS Wrestling Team
The RHS Wrestling team will be competing in their county tournament
this weekend.
