On Friday, May 19th, the Visual and Performing Arts Department held Celebration of the Arts where students were able to attend music, dance, and theater performances throughout the day, and interact with art exhibits and demonstrations, cooking demonstrations, and other hands-on art activities.
Below is just a sampling of the countless events from today!
Senior Thomas Ehnenn (pictured above on left) played the role of an art broker as he spent the day selling art for charity, while Senior David Song (above on the right) serenaded the customers.
RHS Chamber Orchestra performs in the Little Theater under the direction of teachers Kristi Geronimo and Gary Fink.
Seniors Melanie Skeparoska and Anastasia Toporova spearheaded the extremely popular "The Kindness Rocks Project" in the Campus Center.
Students signed up to attend Dr. Bray's student-led demos, baking banana bread
and chicken bites.
Mr. Cronk's Architecture class created housing models in a redevelopment concept of the Valley Hospital property, which were on display in the Campus Center.
Christine DiBrita's Dance students performed multiple dances in the gym.
