The Maroon Awards
Seventeen RHS Students were nominated by staff and received the first Maroon Awards of the 2023-2024 school year. Maroon Awards recognize students who naturally do positive things for peers, staff, and the school without the intent of recognition and make the school a better place.

Sign up to Qualify for the NJ State Seal of Biliteracy
The New Jersey State Seal of Biliteracy is an award given by the NJ Department of Education (NJDOE) in recognition of students who have studied and attained proficiency in at least one language in addition to English by high school graduation.
In January, the World Language Department will administer the exams that qualify students for the award. Only current juniors and seniors are eligible to test. Students who consider themselves highly proficient in Arabic, French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Mandarin Simplified, Mandarin Traditional, Polish, Portuguese Brazilian, Russian, or Spanish may sign up.

Twin Rockettes!
Caitlin and Courtney Sullivan, identical twins and RHS 2016 graduates, will be dancing in the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall this year. In a recent interview with Bergen Magazine, they discuss their love of their hometown as well as their decision to pursue their dream of being Rockettes over other job offers. What inspirations!
Koo Owns Best FG Percentage in NFL History
Younghoe Koo, RHS Class of 2013, currently has the best field goal percentage in NFL history at 90 percent (minimum 100 attempts). He signed with the Atlanta Falcons in 2019. At RHS, he was named MVP his senior year. Check out more about him in these articles on NorthJersey.com and CNN.
World Alliance Club Fundraiser
The World Alliance Club raised over $500 for SOS Children’s Village through their hot chocolate stand. Member Chris got pied in the face to raise $40 more for the collection.

Congratulations to Seniors Isabella Winn, Katie Bisgrove & Jessica Kaye for receiving 1st Team All County Honors.
Congratulations to Isabella Winn who was selected to be a part of the 11th annual Girls High School All-American game. She will be one of of 21 members on the East Squad to play in the game on December 9, 2023, in Charleston, SC.
