Fifteen students traveled to Spain from February 12–20 to participate in an exchange program with their Spanish partners who visited RHS during Spring Break last year. The group, accompanied by profesora Barker and profesora Galasso, began the trip with two nights in Sevilla. They then spent four nights in Barbate, using it as a base to visit Cádiz, Bolonia, Tarifa, and Vejer de la Frontera. The students attended their "intercambios" high schools as well.
During the trip, students practiced and strengthened their Spanish language skills while exploring and comparing cultural products, perspectives, and practices in Spain.
Mrs. O'Brien's PREP class completed their second "Book Club to Go" with the Ridgewood Public Library. Students have been reading the novel, Flora & Ulysses, at home and at school. On Tuesday March 10, students finished the book and went to the library to work with teen librarian, Ms. Justin, to review and react to the book together. They matched quotes, wrote poems, and created their own comic.

On Friday March 13th, PREP students in Mrs. O'Brien's high school took a Community Based Instruction trip to ShopRite in Fairlawn. Students met with the Registered Dietician to review healthy food choices during National Nutrition Month. Students then participated in making (and tasting!) their own "Rainbow Pizzas"!
