In the Classroom
Freshman Focus
9th graders enjoyed pumpkin carving this week.
Forensics
The Forensic classes found crime scenes when they arrived to class. They had to document the scene and figure out what happened. Retired Detective Reinke, Officer Amoruso and Officer Perez helped the students.
Special Recognition
Hsuan Lillian Labowsky, teacher of chemistry and physics at RHS, was recognized at the NJ Science Convention banquet as one of the 2023 Presidential Award (PAEMST) State Finalists.

Club Happenings
Battlebots Club
Eitan Schneider leading the battle bots club into fabricating some aluminum parts for a new battle bot. The parts were modeled on the computer and cut out using the CNC router and the drill press.
Sharing the Arts Club
Sharing the Arts Club consists of a group of volunteer students that direct and choreograph theatre performances for special needs people from our district and surrounding areas. We are currently preparing for our fall performance Beauty and the Beast! If you are interested in volunteering please contact Ms. Minichini at gminichini@ridgewood.k12.nj.us or join us at our next practice - Mondays 3:30pm to 4:30pm on the front lawn or the dance studio (weather dependent).
Fishing Club
The RHS Fishing Club met at DeKorte State Park in Lyndhurst this past Saturday and enjoyed the terrific view of NYC and were successful in the catch & release of stripped bass.
French Club
French Club held a meeting this Wednesday, October 25th during unit lunch. We welcomed returning members as well as a few new ones and had a total of 19 present today. After learning about French cultural holidays through a presentation curated by the leaders, everyone enjoyed a couple of fun games of Blooket along with chips, pretzels, cookies, and drinks. New members alwaus welcome!
Join French Club in Rm 332 every other Wednesday to enjoy French culture and food!
GYMNASTICS
Congrats to the girls gymnastics team who earned third place in their league meet on Monday, October 23rd.
BOYS & GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
Both the boys and the girls cross country teams continued their amazing fall season with a title sweep at the County Championships and the Bergen County Meet of Champions.

The RHS Swim Team is proud to once again offer delicious fresh baked 10” pies from Country Gardens. Have them fresh for Thanksgiving for freeze them for up to four months.
