Asian Festival 2022!

For over 30 years, Ridgewood High School has hosted its annual Asian Festival, showcasing a variety of student performances from five Asiatic cultures. This student-led celebration comprises traditional and modern art forms representing China, India, Japan, Korea, and the Philippines. The in-school celebration took place on Friday, April 1st, with four periods' worth of performances along with a luncheon for the school community. Close to 2,000 members of the community attended the programs and 325 people enjoyed the delicious luncheon provided by the parents. The benefit, to raise funds for Doctors Without Borders, took place on Saturday.  It was a full showcase of performances before an audience of over 400.  Thank you to all who supported the Festival!

Math Teacher of The Month!

The math teachers of RHS have selected Dr. Rick McNamee as April's Math Teacher of the Month. His outstanding level of consistency and service to RHS is one to follow. In his honor and to celebrate Arbor Day, 5 trees have been planted in Umpqua National Forest in Oregon, which is nestled on the western slope of the Cascade Mountains. Congrats, Dr. Mac!
