Forensic Science

Ms. Walters' Forensic Science class welcomed FBI Special Agent Grathwohl as a guest speaker this week.  In addition to discussing two very interesting cases, she brought FBI jackets and crime scene tape as props for the students.

RHS GUIDANCE

RHS Guidance Counselors are reviewing course options for the 2022-23 school year with each grade level.  Pictured is the Junior class.  The counselors will meet with the Freshmen and Sophomores in the coming weeks and have already met with the 8th Grade Counselors.

RHS Senior, Christina Huang

Senior Christina Huang (pictured left) was interviewed by ABC on Monday afternoon.  Christina is the Youth Ambassador and a board member of Make Us Visible New Jersey, which lobbied for legislation mandating Asian American Curriculum in schools (grades K-12).  Gov. Phil Murphy signed the legislation that will ensure that the contributions, history, and heritage of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) are included in the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Social Studies.  The interview was televised on ABC (Ch.7) later that day.  Christina did an outstanding job!

Learning Commons

February is Black History Month! The Learning Commons is proud to feature our ever-growing collection of fiction and nonfiction books written by contemporary Black authors. Many more titles are available as e-books and audiobooks on Sora and MackinVia.
