Senior Christina Huang (pictured left) was interviewed by ABC on Monday afternoon. Christina is the Youth Ambassador and a board member of Make Us Visible New Jersey, which lobbied for legislation mandating Asian American Curriculum in schools (grades K-12). Gov. Phil Murphy signed the legislation that will ensure that the contributions, history, and heritage of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) are included in the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Social Studies.
