ITM held its annual English Presentation Contest on the 13th of November 2024. It started from 16:40 and finished at 18:00. This year 9 students from the first, second and third years of ITM took part.
There were five topics to choose from including AI, SDGs, Work Life balance, Value of Study and Society Contribution. Each student prepared their script and PowerPoint slides with the help of teachers in the faculty.
On the day, all the presentations were very well given with clear and powerful voices and ideas. The result was below:
1. Akane Tustsui (1年生) – Last but not Least: Wonderful Place to Live and Visit
1. Rei Kato (3年生) – Toward Further Work Life balance in Japan
2. Asami Tanaka (1年生) – The Missing Piece in Work-Life Balance
3. Yu Matsuda (2年生) – Eco-Tourism can benefit Shirakami-Sanchi
Incredibly this year, the first time ever, we had two winners, both excellent speeches. However, Akane was chosen as the one final representative for our faculty in the All-Toyo presentation contest (same topic) on the 23th November 2024. Good luck to her.
This event is always a great surprise and I hope more students join in future presentation contests because it can help to build your confidence, make your voice available to others, and improve your presentation skills.
Lastly, a very big thank you to the support of the judges, students, and the office staff for making this a great learning opportunity.
