CPDA-1 이 첨가된 blood는 35일동안 보관 될 수 있다.

보관 온도 : 1 - 6 °C (body temperature에서 보관할때보다 glycolysis를 40배 정도 늦출 수 있다.)

Citrate : anticoagulant by binding calcium

Phosphate : buffer

Dextrose : red cell energy source

Adenine : precursor for adenosine triphosphate (ATP) synthesis
