Principal's Update
Dear Colleagues,
Welcome back to a very short week. To those going out for PSLE marking, thank you for taking on this National duty, and let us do our best for the students of Singapore. In recent days, we have received many reports of incidents among boys. Towards the end of every school year, I notice that there will invariably be an increase in altercations of various kinds in every school I've been in. I sense that it could be because of anxiety about exams, and boys could also have been bottling up unresolved angry feelings, or that everyone is just edgier to complete work as time runs out as we approach the last weeks of the year. Let us be mindful of this, especially in these last few weeks of the year, to remind ourselves to practice mindfulness and be extra kind and peaceful. I leave you with the quote of the week:

P6 Sports Festival

Dear all,
We will be having the P6 Sports Festival next week on 24th and 25th October.
We will be using the Indoor Sports Hall (L2) and the Sheltered Basketball Court (B2) on both days from 0735-1130 hours.
1st period subject teachers of both days are to bring the class from the classroom to the respective venues with their water bottles, snack and recess items.
Subject teachers of P6 classes on these days, please go to the respective venues:
24 Oct (T4W7, Tue) 0735-1130:
6C, 6E and 6H - ISH Level 2
6D, 6F and 6G - SBC Basement 2
25 Oct (T4W7, Wed) 0735-1130:
6C, 6E and 6H - SBC Basement 2
6D, 6F and 6G - ISH Level 2
Subject teachers are to help maintain discipline of their subject classes and assist PE teachers who are conducting the event.
Timetable resumes as per normal from 1130 onwards.

The P6 boys will be having the Mother Tongue Cultural Camp on 20 October 2023 (Week 6, Friday).
