Staff Bulletin for 2022T1W1

published on Friday 7 January 2022

About our SSS Staff Bulletin: This weekly Staff Bulletin is our "virtual" print version of a weekly Staff Contact Time. The accompanying files/slides for each news item are for your downloading. and reference.. All staff are expected to read each issue in full and be aware of all the vital aspects of upcoming programmes and processes.

PLUS: Please do continue checking our CES outlook emails daily, for any direct communication as well as urgent / immediate matters.

Principal's Update

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for your dedication to helping make the first few days a good start for the boys. The Year Head Team has been working hard to plan and make it purposeful. There are always areas that can be improved so please do give your inputs when we do the reviews.

In our effort to maximise our meetings, this bulletin has been put together as our attempt to minimise long drawn briefings. But we do need to make the effort to adopt this new way of working by having the self-discipline to read this bulletin to the end and to also read emails. We are also making an effort to reduce laborious meetings and send out many disparate emails. As a result of the feedback on the bulletins which Edwin had sent out at the end of last year, we have decided to make a tweak to send out the bulletin on Friday morning to give everyone more time to read and plan ahead for the next week. I do hope that everyone will take the time to read so that we are informed of upcoming programmes.

As shared at the Staff Meeting last week, do try our best to maintain our professional conduct and seek help if need be. The links to the slides and the code are as follows:

Code of Professional Conduct

It is literally true that you can succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed.
