Principal's Update
Dear Colleagues,
I hope you had a restful Septenber holidays. It is a sombre start to the term as we grief the passing of our colleague Charles. I'm sure it is weighing heavy in your heart and mind, and if you need to speak to someone, feel free to come by or reach out to other colleagues.
Next week will be a short week with the Teacher's Day and PSLE LC on Monday and Friday respectively. Do take note that morning assembly will be in class for the whole week. We will be engaging the boys taught by Charles on Tuesday after the morning assembly. There will be other boys who will find out through the grapevine and might also be affected, so do look out for them. We will not be making a general announcement to the school for the moment and will assess the situation after Tuesday.
In all our difficulties and challenges, let us continue to choose to be loving, and I leave you with our quote for the week.

Dear Invigilators for PSLE Listening Compre 2023,
1. Please note that soundbar and laptop for the audio testing has been placed in the staffroom for you to perform your Audio Familiarisation as and when you are able to on 12 September, Tuesday. Please refer to the attached slides for instructions on the usage of the soundbar. Please sign on the form provided on the staffroom table after performing the Audio Familiarisation.
2. Invigilators should receive their login credentials via schools.gov email by 12 September 2023. Invigilators will be performing their login credentials check in Computer Lab 3 (level 4) from 2-3pm.
In the unlikely event that the login credentials are still not provided by SEAB by 12 September, 2pm. Invigilators login credentials check will be done on 13 September, Wednesday, 2pm at the same venue instead (Computer Lab 3).

Dear colleagues,
The school will be holding our inaugural Mid-Autumn Festival Evening Celebration (月圆人团圆 Fullness of Moon, Reunion of Man) in the evening of 15 Sep, Fri from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. There will be a concert performance, exciting games and cultural booths, a lantern trail walk around the neighbourhood and attractive prizes to be won. The programme for the evening is as follows:
5.45pm Registration Starts
6.30pm Arrival of GOH
6.35pm Concert
7.00pm Games and Cultural Carnival
8.00pm Lantern Trail Walk
8.30pm Home Reunion with Loved Ones
More than 700 complimentary tickets have been issued to parents and students. All staff are also invited to join in the evening celebration with your families. Pls bring along your own lanterns for the lantern trail walk.
There will be also be an Assembly Programme on 25 Sep, Monday to share about the festival. Pls log in to the usual morning assembly zoom by 12.20pm.
