Principal's Update
Dear Colleagues,
It has been a tough week with a number of staff going out for various National School Games (NSG) events and with a number of us also coming down with COVID. I am grateful that many of you have continued to support each other thanks for your well-wishes. We will continue to have another busy week with the orals in the afternoon, but do hang in there as we will soon have the National Day break upon us. Thank you for going out of your way to help the boys and each other out. In our tiredness, let us recall the often prayed words of our Founder:
"I will continue, O my God, to do all my actions for the love of You."

We will be conducting a second Emergency Preparedness Exercise on Friday,29 July. The exercise will consist of a lockdown and evacuation to assembly area.
There will be a zoom briefing to all pupils during the afternoon assembly on Monday, 25 July. The details of the assembly zoom are as follows :

Dear all,
The Maths Department is having their first Maths Week during the above dates mentioned. The theme is "Maths Around Us". We will be having recess activities in the CCA Room 2 (former IGROW Hub) on 26 and 27 July.
We week the support and assistance from the Maths teachers to encourage the boys to join us in the activities. Do carry out some class discussions to encourage the boys to think about the mathematics they use in their daily lives.

#BetterCyberSafe: Schools Dance Challenge

Dear Colleagues,
Organized by Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), the #BetterCyberSafeSG School Dance Challenge is open to all students enrolled in MOE Schools.
Students are invited to showcase their creativity for the new cybersecurity rap song, “Better Cyber Safe than Sorry” in a video of a duration of 30 seconds to no more than one (1) minute.
Students are welcome to participate in the two categories: (i) Individual Category (1 student) and (ii) Group Category (2-5 students). The video will be submitted on SLS by Monday, 1 August 2022 - 11:59pm.
**Form Teachers, your help is required with the following by Wednesday, 3 August 2022 - 5:00pm:
a) Download your pupil’s video submission from SLS
b) Rename their video file as:
Solo Category:
Name of Category_School Name_Name of Participant_Class
