Principal's Update

Dear colleagues,


As we enter week 10, I hope you have a productive time connecting with your students' parents. I also hope that you will have a good and refreshing break during the March holidays. 


This week, I thought I'd share this quote that has lingered with me after recently coming across it in one of our school magazines from the 1980s. I'm reminded to look at our difficult boys with the eyes of faith and love, and persevere in helping them to overcome their challenging behaviours. This is perhaps a good time to also reflect on our calling and Lasallian mission ahead of our Lasallian Formation Day on Friday.

Lasallian Formation Day

Date and Time of Event:  Friday 8 March, 8 am to 1 pm

Information Details: 

Dear colleagues,

Lasallian Formation Day will be held at SJII, Malcolm Road. For those who are taking school transport, please be in school by 7.15 am. Bus will leave at 7.15 am. For those who are going to SJII on your own, please be there by 8 am. There is Mass at 7.30 am for those who wish to attend. 

As green is one of our Lasallian colours, suggestion is for all Stephenian staff to turn up in green. We will make it our own 50 Shades of Green...

We will be having our Staff VIA ‘Project Ihsan on Wednesday 3 April 2024. It is organised in conjunction with the Hari Raya celebration.

Only one-way bus transport will be provided and you will be dismissed from the venue after the session. Please indicate on the Google Sheet if you are unable to participate in the VIA due to official duties and also if you need the one-way transport arrangement from school. Kindly do so by 5 pm Friday, 8 March.
