Principal's Update
Dear Colleagues,
As we enter the National Day week, I know we have lots on our minds. Do take some time to rest and enjoy the National Day holidays. I want to thank you for providing feedback on the leadership survey. We don't quite have enough responses yet as there are still about 10 more staff who have not yet responded. I urge those who haven't to do soon as soon as possible.
I know many are concerned about Jayvier's aggressive behaviours, especially in the recent episodes with the staff. There will be consequences for his behaviour, and we will continue to work with him to help him regulate his behaviours independently. With SEN boys, it will be a complicated and long journey of accompanying them to help them integrate. While they sometimes offer glimpses of hope in the progress that they make, this journey will also present many setbacks and heartaches. Let's continue to keep believing in the mission to touch hearts and transform lives, and know that we can turn to each other for support. As we ponder this week's quote, let us not lose hope and continue to do all our actions with love.
Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.
~ Mother Theresa
