Principal's Update
Dear Colleagues,
I hope that you having a good Youth Day long weekend. I also hope that you have started to take steps to try out the teaching strategy we discussed and thought about in June.
I attended the Global Education Leaders Conference last Friday which I found very refreshing. Among the many points of reflections, one question stuck in my mind which I wanted to share with you for our reflection as well: Am I the kind of educator that my 10 year old self would feel safe and want to speak to? How can we become that kind of teacher? I leave you with the quote for the week...
What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.
