KAU fully applies the salary pay scale that is set by the government without any differentiation regarding the gender of the applicant faculty or staff.
The Labor Law does not distinguish between different categories of employee and forbids a gender pay gap while providing equal pay when a Males and a Female perform the same job.
The “Ministry of Civil Service” clearly defines all criteria related to the pay scale starting from the field domain to the degree, to salary scales, incentives, bonuses, raises, and allowances. They are defined in the “List of Financial Rights & Benefits”
Our pay scale is built on the above competencies and does not differentiate between Males and Females. Hence, we do not need to track any Gender Equity payment scale since we do not have it.
KAU follows the “List of Financial Rights & Benefits” that determined by the Ministry and revised in (2021).
